![]() | The WA Government has announced that the mandatory isolation for COVID-19 has lifted as of the 14th October 2022. However, we are seeking your assistance and cooperation in continuing to remain safe. If you or a family member have any symptoms including flu/covid like symptoms, we urge you to advise us when booking your appointment. Please note that face masks are mandatory if you have cold and flu symptoms entering the clinic. Thank you for helping our staff, doctors and other patients safe and also for your efforts thus far through this pandemic. |

In addition to this, we ask that patients with appointments are only to attend the appointment, including 1 parent or guardian per childβs appointment, 1 support person per patient if required. This is effective immediately.
COVID-19 Vaccinations
Having a safe an effective COVID-19 vaccine is one way we can protect our community against coronavirus. COVID-19 vaccines help to prevent serious illness and death from COVID-19, and they are voluntary and free for everyone in Australia.
We have ceased our COVID-19 vaccination clinic. You can find your closest clinic using the Department of Health vaccine finder - https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/booking/
Information regarding the COVID-19 National Rollout Strategy and phases available here.
Some people may still get COVID-19 after vaccination. You must still follow public health precautions as required in your state or territory to stop the spread of COVID-19 including:
COVID-19 Telehealth Bookings
Please be aware that Telehealth consultations are charged privately to the patient and will receive a Medicare rebate back.
Lagoon Medical Centre is operational for Telehealth consultations. Telehealth consultations involve staying at home and speaking with your GP via the telephone OR video-conference. We encourage children 15 and under to use video with their parent or guardian for consultations. The platform we are using for video-conferencing is 'Zoom'.
Here are our tips for your Telehealth consultation:
π Download 'Zoom Cloud Meetings' on your iPhone, Android, Tablet, Windows PC
π Have your email address ready as we will send you a personalised link to invite you to the video meeting
π Speak clearly so your voice can be picked up by the microphone
π Look at the camera to achieve good eye contact with the doctor
π Be ready to talk about your medical history and current condition.
Whether you are vaccinated or not, the best thing you can do is stay up to date and continue to be COVID Safe.
